Queen Liz Cake

Yellow cake filled with strawberries, pastry cream and sliced bananas. Iced in whipped cream and decorated with lady finger cookies. A single strawberry crowns this dessert created by Henry Schmitt in honor of Queen Elizabeth’s visit to Chicago in 1959.
